Exhibition: James Joyce Our Contemporary (documentaries and panels)
Belgrade Window and Stubovi Kulture bookstore, Trg Republike 5

This exhibition recounting the author's life and work in words and photographs features a series of panels launched by the cultural division of the Irish government's Department of Foreign Affairs to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Bloomsday (June 16, 1904), the day on which Joyce's masterpiece, Ulysses, published in 1922, is set.

Three documentaries, each 10–12 minutes long, detail the controversy over Ulysses, the relationship between Joyce and the National Library of Ireland, and Joyce’s contemporary legacy. The films will be shown repeatedly.
